So, what makes this window so unique? The very exceptional and true value of vinyl replacement windows is that it contains a glazing bead that allows the interior material and vinyl to float on each other without glue or any mechanical connection. They can expand and contract at different rates without creating any kind of stress. This successfully eliminates the need for adhesives or mechanical fasteners that can fail over time. This float method, unlike “capping or cladding” of a wood window with vinyl or aluminum, eliminates moisture build-up that can rot and decay the wood components beneath.

Johnstown, OH – Atria Building Products has been recognized with one of the highest honors in the window industry. Window and Door Magazine, a nationally accredited publication serving the window and door industry, has named Atria’s TimberCrown window as the most innovative window system in its annual Crystal Achievement Award announcements.
"This is quite an honor considering how many window systems we were up against”, states the inventor and Atria President. Selected by a panel of judges representing all segments of the industry, the awards recognize significant innovations and accomplishments in window and door technology. Atria single-hung vinyl windows have a tilt-in lower sash for easy cleaning. The upper sash is fixed and weather tight, allowing a view unobstructed by screen material.
Atria vinyl window frames and sashes are 100% chambered vinyl made with state-of-the-art, Veka PVC profiles that will not shrink or crack. Available in White or Almond.
Weahtherproof Windows
All of Atria's windows feature 3/4" double-insulated AFG glass with the Intercept Seal. Additional glass options include AFG Comfort Ti-R Low E glass with Argon, tempered, tinted, obscure or textured glass, or grooved or leaded decorative glass. When glazed with Ti-R glass Atria vinyl windows meet the ENERGY STAR requirements for the North Central Region and are ENERGY STAR rated and labeled.
More Atria windows are sold for new home construction in Central Ohio than any other vinyl window brand. In addition, Atria supplies home builders in Cincinnati, Ohio, and Northern Kentucky.
To enhance the aesthetics and functionality of any home Atria also supplies TimberCrown shaped windows, vinyl shaped windows, skylights and decorative windows.

Atria offers a selection of decorative glass for its entry doors and sidelights. Or Atria's in-house staff can design and fabricate custom stained glass or etched glass panels.

Dream Entries® Prehung Frames
Atria prehangs its doors and sidelights into either primed or clear wood jambs. Atria door jambs are solid one-piece construction even for 6-9/16" wall thicknesses. All Atria brickmould and exterior mull components are made of cellular foam PVC by Marley Mouldings. These paintable profiles will never warp, split or rot and can be installed as easily as wood, but without the high maintenance.
Steel Door Security
For optimum security, Atria's steel doors have a 24-gauge steel skin with interlocking steel edges that tightly lock together. The locking edge is punched and extruded in the lockset area creating a right angle lip around the lock hole. This combined with a heavy ABS plastic interior reinforcement provides a permanent solid base for hardware application. The hinge edge has a 12-gauge reinforcement plate, riveted inside.
Energy Efficiency
Each door has a high density polyurethane core which chemically bonds to the steel skins for structural rigidity to resist warping, twisting and delamination. This core provides an R-15 insulating value for energy efficiency that far outpaces wood doors. The interlocking steel edges have a true thermal break vinyl extrusion eliminating the transfer of heat or cold through the steel skins. The base of the door has a triple contact bottom sweep to help eliminate drafts, leaks and ice build-up. A continuous strip of compressible foam weatherstrip seals the top and sides of the door with the frame, eliminating air loss around the door.
Harmony
Atria's fiberglass offering combines strength, durability and wood-grain beauty. The face sheets of every door are constructed of fiberglass-reinforced engineered materials which resist nicks and dents even better than wood or steel doors. These doors provide the genuine look and feel of a wood door -- including a true stile-and-rail grain pattern -- with none of the performance problems that are associated with natural wood products. Plus, this door offers four times greater insulation performance than any wood door. Harmony doors are easier to stain than real wood and, because of the depth of the grain, retain their wood grain appeal even when painted.
