Bronze PVC windows?

CWS is excited to introduce the NEW bronze PVC vinyl replacement windows.  Bronze on the exterior and white on the interior.  Now available in Single-Hung, horizontal, and Picture windows.  Other windows and doors to be added in the future.  These are not like the other windows that our competitors tried to paint, and do I need to say more.................These are State of the Art and employ the latest in technology that are designed for the Sunbelt states as well as the northern states.

On Thursday April 19, 2007, Keith Brown, a Safety and Health Consultant for USF SafetyFlorida Consultation Program, presented John Cwik, Owner and CEO of Custom Window Systems, Inc. with a SHARP Certificate.The Safety & Health Achievement Recognition Program (SHARP) is an OSHA Cooperative Program and is recognizing CWS for operating an exemplary safety and health management system.  Approval into the program is good for two years and requires a formal renewal process involving a self-evaluation and OSHA 300 Log verification.

Limited Warranty – Glass
DISCLAIMER:
Glass has prevalent characteristics such as slight discolorations, blurs, bubbles, and hairline scratches. These
are inherent qualities that meet or exceed the standard specifications for flat glass.
Insulated glass is warranted for a twenty (20) year period commencing from the date of sale to the original
consumer purchaser as long as he/she owns and resides in the home in which the products were installed.
This warranty is not transferable and ensures only to the benefit of the original consumer purchaser.
Custom Window Systems, Inc. warrants that its insulated glass units, when installed within the Continental
United States, will not materially obstruct vision as a result of dust, film or moisture collection on the interior
surfaces of the glass for twenty years from the date of manufacture to the original owner only, subject to the
terms and conditions outlined herein.
COVERAGE OF INSULATED GLASS WARRANTY:
The obligations under this warranty shall be limited to repair or replacement of insulated glass found to be
defective within the applicable period described above and in accordance with terms and conditions described
elsewhere herein.
LIMITED FIVE YEAR WARRANTY – ALUMINUM AND VINYL (PVC) FRAME COMPONENTS:
Component parts are warranted for a five (5) year period commencing from the date of sale to the original
consumer purchaser as long as he/she owns and resides in the home in which the products were installed.
This warranty is not transferable and ensures only to the benefit of the original consumer purchaser.
COVERAGE OF COMPONENTS WARRANTY:
The obligations of Custom Window Systems, Inc. under this warranty shall be limited to repair or
replacement of component parts found to be defective within the applicable period described above and in
accordance with terms and conditions described elsewhere herein.
LIMITED WARRANTY OF LAMINATED INSULATED GLASS:
Custom Window Systems, Inc. warrants only to the original consumer purchaser that the laminated glass
products identified below which are produced by Cardinal Glass will not have defects in material or
workmanship that cause delamination of glass resulting in materially obstructed vision through the laminated
glass: for IG laminated glass using SGP laminated glass, ten (10) years; for IG laminated glass using PVB
laminated glass, five (5) years.

Limited Warranty – Vinyl (PVC) Frame Windows and Doors
LIMITED TWENTY (20) YEAR WARRANTY:
Custom Window Systems, Inc. warrants that the Vinyl (PVC) Frames will be free from manufacturing
defects resulting in peeling, blistering, flaking, checking, crazing or corroding under normal use and
service conditions for a period of twenty (20) years from date of manufacturing by Custom Window
Systems, Inc., subject to the exclusions and limitations of this warranty.
EXCLUSION AND LIMITATIONS:
Custom Window Systems, Inc. does not warrant against:
(a) normal weathering which may cause any colored surface to gradually fade over a period
of time; or
(b) any condition attributable to handling or installation of windows and doors.
This warranty is not transferable and ensures only to the benefit of the original consumer purchaser as
long as he/she owns and resides in the home in which the products were installed.
COVERAGE OF WARRANTY:
The obligations under this warranty shall be limited to repair or replacement of Vinyl (PVC) Frames
found to be defective within the applicable period described above and in accordance with terms and
conditions described elsewhere herein.
Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts; and some states do not allow
the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages or the limitation of remedies for a
breach of warranty, so the above limitations or exclusions may not apply to you. This warranty gives you
specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary from state to state.
CLAIMS PROCEDURE:
If a warranty claim should become necessary, the original consumer purchaser should contact the
INSTALLING DEALER. No person, firm or corporation is authorized to alter or change the above
warranty or to impose any other liability on Custom Window Systems, Inc.

HOW TO CARE FOR YOUR:
GLASS WINDOWS:
Vacuum dirt from frame and window tracks. Clean window and frame with water and mild dish soap*. Mild, nonabrasive soaps are usually safest for most dirt and stain removal. Always rinse completely with clear water and wipe dry with a clean soft cloth to avoid water spots. Check to make sure that drainage or “weep” holes are always clear of dirt or obstructions both on the inside and outside of the window. Clean screens by first removing, then washing on a flat, clean surface with mild soap and water and a soft brush. Rinse, wipe dry and reinstall.
*Ivory is an example of a mild soap. Always test cleaners in an inconspicuous area first.
ACRYLIC WINDOWS:
Acrylics can be scratched with a rough cloth, harsh soaps, or cleaning products and these must be avoided. We recommend for a bright, lustrous look, you use 210® plastic cleaner/polish. Use a non-abrasive soap or detergent and water. Use a soft sponge, cloth or chamois and rinse often to keep it free of grit. Tracks should be cleaned when needed, to keep dirt and other substances out of tracks that could prevent easy operation of rollers or plug up weepholes. DO NOT USE WINDEX as it will damage the acrylic.
GARAGE SCREEN ENCLOSURE:
Clean your tracks frequently. Keeping them free from sand and debris will greatly increase the life of your rollers. DO NOT lubricate your rollers as this attracts and holds sand. You may clean your enclosure with mild soap and water. PLEASE NOTE: Screen can be easily punctured or cut. Remove all jewelry from your hands and arms before cleaning your enclosure.
VINYL WINDOWS:
Vinyl is not glass and should not be treated as you would treat glass. Extreme care must be taken when cleaning your vinyl windows. Do not use any harsh cleaners or detergents. It is imperative that no formulas containing bleach are used, including professional pressure cleaners. For the best results, your windows need to be cool before washing. Make sure all dust and loose sand or grit has been removed from all areas of the frame. This is best accomplished with the soft brush attachment of your vacuum cleaner. We recommend that you use our vinyl cleaner which has been specially formulated for our vinyl windows or Woolite reduced with water in accordance with the instructions on the Woolite bottle. PLEASE NOTE: Vinyl can be easily punctured or cut. Remove all jewelry from your hands and arms before cleaning your windows.
