In 1972, Jacques Ménard joined the family business and decided in 1975 to launch an organization essentially for manufacturing and distributing Windows and doors under the corporate name of "Dalmen Products Ltd".
This began the construction of a modern day factory perfectly located at exit 51 off highway 417. The company contributes their accomplishments to the well-equipped plant but principally to a qualified staff that is dedicated to the success of the company; some of which have been here since the beginning.
1984 marked the beginning of the vinyl replacement windows evolution as a major component in the manufacturing of windows. In the beginning, vinyl was used as an exterior cladding on wood Windows and doors that then lead to the fabrication of the vinyl frame. It is towards 1994 that Dalmen developed its first complete vinyl windows - the Comfort Series. With this arrived new machines to cut and weld the vinyl that made it possible for this industry to acknowledge a decade of changes and improvements without leaving behind its history.
Proud of its heritage and always searching for new products and techniques, Dalmen was made known as an evolutionary pioneer. In 2000, Dominic Alary, a recent graduate of Industrial Engineering from Politechnique School joined the team. Dominic implemented a very modern technique of production; the development of new windows and the advantages of aluminium, vinyl and wood; new methods of marketing techniques and guided Dalmen skillfully to new heights. He quickly became general manager of the company and an important shareholder in 2005.

DALMEN PRODUCTS LIMITED WARRANTY
Dalmen Products Ltd (DALMEN) warrants that all of its products are free from any defects of material and workmanship as specified under the terms and conditions contained in this Limited Warranty.
1- DALMEN, COMBO, DECKO AND PRO-TECH SERIES ( 5 YEAR WARRANTY )
The wood frames, sashes and cladding are warranted against defects in material and workmanship for a period of five (5) years. The screens, exterior grills, weather-strips and sceallants are warranted for a period of one (1) year.
2- COMFORT 2000 , SPECTRA AND OMNI SERIES ( 20 YEAR WARRANTY )
The vinyl components of products fabricated by Dalmen Products Ltd are guaranteed not to rot, rust, pit, corrode, peel, blister or suffer non-uniform fading discoloration (white only) for a period of twenty (20) years for residential use or ten (10) years for commercial use. The screens, exterior grills, weather-strips and sceallants are warranted for a period of one (1) year.
3- METAL DOORS ( 10 YEAR WARRANTY )
Metal doors are guaranteed, by the manufacturer, against rust or corrosion for ten (10) years. Prepainted doors are guaranteed, by the manufacturer, against cracking and peeling for a period of ten (10) years. The frames, weather-strips and sceallants are warranted against defects in material and workmanship for a period of one (1) year.
4- INSULATED GLASS UNIT ( 10 YEAR WARRANTY )
Double or triple glazing units are, under normal conditions, guaranteed by the manufacturer for a period of 10 years from the date of manufacture of the sealed unit, (indicated on the spacer between the two glass panes) against the formation of film or deposit of dust on the inner surfaces of the unit. Moreover, for a period of one (1) year, we guarantee our units against thermal breaks.
Note: This warranty apply only when the unit is install by us in a Dalmen frame.
5- HARDWARE
All hardware components used in Dalmen products are limited to the original manufacturer’s warranty. i.e. 10 Year warranty for “Truth Hardware”
6- PAINT
All prepainted vinyl parts are covered by the limited warranty of the paint sub-contractor.

Characteristics
Frame, sash and brick-mould manufactured from low-maintenance P.V.C. and welded at the corners for greater strength. Multiple chambers design for maximum thermal insulation.
We use Spring Sash Balances for smooth, quiet sash operation without the need for adjustment. We decreaseair infiltration with the addition of a foam block and facilitate replacement of spring balances through a pre-punched cavity.
We add a sloped sill for better water evacuation and improved structural strengths.
Weep holes with covers for improved air infiltration.

Triple weather-stripping is positioned on the sash in order to achieve maximum water and air tightness. The weather-strip design better outlines the form of the sash and helps decreasethe exterior adhesion.
A one piece 3 1/4’’ structural frame with an integrated brick mould (4 3/8’’) allows the glass to remain in the warm part of the wall.

The profile is enhanced by a PVC powder compound that gives it one of the best glossy finishs on the market. The finish reduces dirt adhesion and improves impact resistance due to better fusion during the extrusion process.
