Strong And Handsome On The Outside

The 200 Series Schoolhouse Classics new construction window has an attractive reverse-bevel or ogee curve on the master frame to create a unique look. The integral screen track on the master frame looks like part of the ogee curve and is an integral part of the master frame. This screen is the easiest-to-operate that you will find in vinyl new construction vinyl replacement windows. We\'ve redesigned the sloped sill to be more efficient than ever before by strengthening the hollow extrusions. We have created a sill interlock which bonds the sill with the bottom sash when the bottom sash is closed for the purpose of increasing the design pressure rating on the window. The master frame and sash are both thermally-fusion welded to provide maximum strength and long life to the window.

Styles to choose from inculde double hungs, horizontal sliders, picture windows and specialty shapes such as circle tops and arch tops. Our 3100 patio door completes the line. Consider flat or profiled colonial grids that are sealed inside of the insulating glass. The sash are exterior glazed which means that the glazing bead is on the exterior and the nice, smooth attractive sash profile is on the interior. Premium quality block and tackle balances allow for easy opening and closing of the vertically-sliding windows. All lift handles are an itegral part of the sash, so nothing can loosen up or fall off.

The Cambridge Casing - it\'s not just for New England any more

The 3\" Cambridge Casing can be ordered as a part of the Schoolhouse Classic window and will arrive as an integral part of the window. Ready to be installed, the Cambridge Casing gives any house that New England look. The J Channel is manufactured into the Cambridge Casing and makes applying the vinyl siding a breeze.

Considered the top of the line, the 300 Series Brickmold double hung has an integral brickmold as part of the master frame which helps to create a J channel to make the installation of vinyl siding a snap. The 300 Series is manufactured as a double hung, horizontal slider, picture window and specialty shapes.

The brickmold new construction vinyl windows will come standard with 3/4\" clear insulating glass. The glass options include the following:

  • Infinit \"E\" Glass - High performance Low \"E\" Glass

  • Infinit \"E\" Glass - (U value 0.34)

  • SupraGlas - High performance Low \"E\" and argon gas

  • SupraGlas - (U value 0.30)

  • Any U value of 0.35 or less will qualify for Energy Star rating and labeling in the Northeast.

The Sentinel storm door features the Deluxe Series 1 1/4" master frame along with safety hardware and a Panel 15 kickplate. With these rugged features, the Sentinel will resist even the most abusive treatment and preform as well as, if not better than, most woodcore storm doors. The Sentinel is perfect for apartments, rental properties, and other applications where high traffic and safety are considerations. It's child-resistant and wear-resistant features also make it appropriate in any home where an extra padding of protection is appreciated.

In addition to the features of our Deluxe series, the Sentinel also has:

Your storm windows absorb the brunt of frigid winter weather. At the same time, they help the home keep heat inside where it belongs. This cuts energy costs while keeping your home comfortable. For the best performance, install storm windows made with low "E" glass.

By drastically reducing air infiltration, your window openings will be virtually free of drafts caused by air infiltration. With Kas-Kel storm windows, air infiltration levels may be even lower than replacing your windows with totally new replacement windows. Improve thermal performance of your window openings by adding this extra piece of glass and creating an air space between the two windows. Since three or four inches of dead air is the best sound-deadening air space, the new storm windows will also make your home a quieter place to live as well as warmer.
