Our Windows Keystone Industries Window & Screen Systems, Inc. was founded in 1989 by a father & son team, Michael DeRosa Jr. & Sr., who have collectively worked in the commercial window business for 42 years. The DeRosas reached an agreement with the Alsides to purchase their aluminum commercial window lines at which time capital was raised by family & friends who believed in the ability of the management team. Keystone started out in leased manufacturing space in an incubator for industry in New Castle, Pennsylvania, their home town. As business grew, a larger facility was purchased in New Castle in 1991 which is where the company is presently located. Today approximately 56 people are employed there. Keystone's primary market in 1989 was public housing but has quickly expanded. Our company now provides window & screen systems for the college and university market, as well as military housing, K-12 schools, hospitals, and office buildings. The addition of our flagship KI7000 SYSTEM window line has allowed us to explore unlimited possibilities in the fenestration industry. Keystone reaches it's customers through a network of experienced, independent architectural representatives. The Keystone management team remains focused on building a quality commercial product that continually develops into the most efficient & maintenance-free vinyl replacement windows & screen product on the market today. We believe in the concept to "do what you do best & continue to improve". It is this idea that has allowed us experience an annual growth in sales in excess of industry requirements. While expanding our areas of expertise is an ongoing process, controlled growth is always a primary concern. The diversity of our management team sets us apart from the rest of the window industry & we remain confident in our ability to expand our products without jeopardizing the quality customers have come to expect from this aggressive little company called Keystone Industries. As co founder of Keystone Industries I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for taking the time to research our company and products. Keystone was founded in 1989 by my father and I whom both had spent our entire lives in the commercial window business only to find ourselves as competitors. Our roots were firmly planted in the public and university housing for many years where our customers are still confident in our ability to provide a quality product that addresses all of their needs. In 1999 Keystone Industries took the initiative to develop energy efficient products which would outperform existing windows in the United States. This journey led us to explore the European methods of fabrication. Working hand in hand with many designers and engineers from around the globe we developed our industry leading products.
