Kolbe Windows & Doors - An Ongoing Vision Welcome to Kolbe Windows & Doors! As you may know, Kolbe & Kolbe was founded by two hard-working men full of ideas and integrity. One was my father, Herb, and the other was my uncle, Ervin. This company is the manifestation of their post-WWII dreams. They had a vision, a mission, and manufactured on it with a careful sense of responsibility to customers, the community, and the employees. The chronicle of Kolbe & Kolbe Millwork is more than a business success story, it is family history. Brothers Herb & Ervin Kolbe were born just before the Great Depression. They were children during the stock market crash of 1929, and endured the hardships of the decade that followed. Still, they shared a rich and full childhood. Their work ethic was manufactured during their days on the family dairy farm. Please join us in viewing a brief timeline of the brothers and the company they manufactured through the decades. DEDICATED TO THE MISSION At Kolbe & Kolbe, our goal is to produce a product with superior features that are manufactured into every window and door – not added on. These "quality in detail" features are evident in all our units – from our most intricate custom units to our utility vinyl replacement windows. Rest assured, we remain steadfast in our commitment to produce only the best.
