In January of 1997 OKNA Windows Corp. became a customer of Royal Group Technologies, a world leader in modern PVC processing and design as well as the largest custom PVC extruder for the North American construction industry. The profiles of Royal’s frames and sashes are made of warranted vinyl replacement windows that will never crack, warp, corrode or blister.
In January of 2002 OKNA Windows Corp. partnered with TruSeal Technologies, Inc. the largest producer of flexible insulating glass spacers in the world, and stared using DuraSealTM a versatile, flexible spacer system. DuraSealTM takes optimum advantage of laminates and adhesives to decreasethermal conductivity while improving surface and corner appearance over other flexible spacers. This multi-layered spacer system featuring specialized components results in superior window performance and aesthetics over other warm edge spacers. It is designed to work with T.A.P.E. (Totally Automated Production Equipment) from Besten, Inc., which produces one of the uppermost quality insulated glass units (IGUs) available on the market.

The Wide-Body Basement Window
The OKNA B800 Plus is the latest innovation in new construction basement windows. It ads value far beyond its cost. The OKNA B800 Plus differs from conventional basement windows in that it is manufactured on an 8 inch fully injected mould frame. The "wide-body" frame makes for easier installation in a block and poured wall foundation and it minimizes finishing.
The OKNA B800 Plus never needs painting, will not rust, rot, shrink, or warp. Its solid vinyl fusion construction eliminates water or air leaks found in most windows. The 3/4" insulated glass and heavy-duty weatherstripping gives optimum energy performance reducing heating and air conditioning costs; making the OKNA B800 Plus clearly the best basement window that money can buy.

Superior Argon Gas Retention
DuraSeal's proven argon retention adhesive has been used in over 100 million insulating glass units. Minimal gas loss occurs after exposure to CGSB, ASTM, DIN or CEN seal durability tests. Reguardless of how gas retention is evaluated, DuraSeal retains argon, thereby maintaining the thermal properties of windows long term.
Continuous Moisture Vapor Barrier
DuraSeal's impermeable continuous foil laminate barrier eliminates any short circuit at hotched corners and has a consistent moisture vapor transmission path (MVP).
