Every Paramount window is hand-manufactured with pride, professionalism and dedication to excellence. Hand-building each window means all our windows are custom-made. Our craftspeople can design and construct any sized window without delay or additional lead-time unlike other window manufacturers.

At each step of assembly, we double check each component, from the initial raw materials used in the window's construction to the hardware to ensure it measures up to our high requirements. We then test the window to the Canadian Standards Association's exacting guidelines for wind and water penetration. Once they're approved, our technicians carefully install each one into the home.

Paramount's windows can withstand even the terrifying force of a tornado. In May 2000, a tornado tore through Manitowak with winds up to 100 kilometers an hour and hail the size of golf balls. A home with recently installed windows designed, manufactured and installed by Paramount withstood the gale force winds with only minor damage to the glass and no dents in the heavy gauge aluminum we use in every clad product. Competitor's windows in adjacent buildings were not so fortunate.

The signature product of the Paramount Windows product line is the sleek, well engineered casement. Available in clad wood, all wood, and PVC, the casement provides maximum ventilation and ease of operation. Combined with fixed sash, transoms, bay or bow windows the casement is available in dual or triple glazed with a selection of glass, grill, and hardware options.

The fixed windows is available in fixed sash or direct set with framing using clad wood, all wood, and PVC. This window style allows for maximum sight lines. Used in conjunction with casements, awnings, and transoms as well as other product types these non-opening windows allow for a multiple of options and larger sizes in creating the perfect window design.

The casement offset, as shown in the adjoining, photo can be used in new construction or renovation projects where the objective is to provide an obstructed sight line yet still have ventilation in the window design. Looks great in areas such as over a kitchen sink, master bedroom, living room, etc.

Available in clad wood, all wood, and PVC the awning window opens up from the bottom to let air in yet still prevents rain from entering the inside of the home. With dual or triple glazing and three weatherstrips the awning window is ideal for providing for a weather tight seal and excellent thermal performance.

This product, available in the standard three frame types; clad wood, all wood, and PVC is great for those areas where cleaning of the glass can only be done from the inside. Using an easy to operate tilt latch, the double hung can be used to fill single openings as wide as four feet by six and a half feet. With 7 main clad colors and 2 in PVC the double hung is excellent for any new construction or renovation project.

Transoms can be applied to any Paramount Window or door unit. With the selection of possibilities available, the transom for example is superb in accenting the overall height of a casement, fixed, double hung, swing door or virtually any other window or door unit. With the same frame, glass, and grill options available as with any other Paramount Window product, the transom is a welcome addition to any window or door design.

Combining the features of casement, fixed, or double hung windows the bow or bay window can add valuable living space to a new or existing room. Usually with casement or double hung operable flankers, the bow or bay is easily adaptable for renovation projects or new construction.

The shaped window product line has proven to provide unmatched craftsmanship and design opportunities. Shaped window products are available in a selection of different shapes. Some of which include: quarter round, half round, segmental, oval, full circle, extended segmental, extended half round, extended quarter round, triangle, trapezoid, and pentoid. Of course, if there is a particular shape that is required, it is most likely the craftsman at Paramount will be able to manufacture your perfect design.

Not everyone has the opportunity to build a new home. At Paramount Windows we have recognized that fact. For over 50 years we have provided products for the remodelling industry. PVC retrofit products are available in casement, awning, fixed, vertical slider, horizontal slider, bow, bay, shaped, and sliding patio doors. These products can be installed as inserts into existing frames or as full pull-outs. Optional brickmold, grill, and high performance glass make this product line an excellent addition to your renovation project.
