Twenty years and growing!

Quantum's founders were homebuilders dissatisfied with the mass produced windows available. They demanded craftsmanship and a higher quality similar to that which they found they could produce for the homes they were building. Thus, in 1982, Quantum was begun out of a demand for a better manufactured wood window.

Our reputation grew and acceptance of our products mounted as we began making presentations to architects.

Growth came quickly and the product line expanded, as did our list of options, including interior and exterior trims, different glazings, and prefinishes. We are known for our exceptional joinery, and our true divided lites are without equal.

Quantum is located in Everett, Washington, 30 miles north of Seattle. Our production facility is designed to maximize attention to detail and hands-on craftsmanship throughout the production process.

Quantum takes a leadership role by being inventive and always striving to offer the finest in wood replacement windows and doors. We are willing to take on new challenges, to try new techniques, to create from scratch that which we haven't done before. But we do it only when we are certain the design is technically sound and all the components will integrate in a window or door that meets Quantum's high requirements. Windows

We offer a selection of window styles, each one custom-made to meet design specifications. For efficiency, there are many common millwork components and shared options, yet each Quantum window possesses unique characteristics that make it as individual as the design.

Signature Series

Optimum visibility is achieved with a minimum of frame and a maximum of glass in our fixed, casement, awning, angle, polygon, round, arch and corner-type windows that comprise the Signature Series.

Traditional Series

Heavy sash profiles reminiscent of hand-manufactured windows found in historic homes characterize these fixed, casement and awning style windows. The bottom stile is larger than the sides or top to maintain the traditional look.

Legacy Series

The classic beauty of single- and double-hung windows is enhanced by our wood frame and sash with balances that are concealed completely. There are no plastic tracks to detract from the natural wood of the sash and fame.

Euro Series

Tilt/Turn and Pivot windows are similar to our Euroglide doors, but function as windows. Multi-point locking hardware, handles, stile and rail construction, and excellent weatherstripping distinguish the Euro Series.

Please note: For ease of grouping, hoppers and sliders are included in the Signature Series. However, they are not the same as Signature Series windows. Please see their individual pages for specific details and distinctions.

Doors

Our door series each feature a myriad of styles. Every Quantum door is crafted to your design specifications. Our doors are truly custom, there are no limits for size or design beyond those inherent in the materials - wood, glass, hardware.

Hinged Series

Hinged Series The most common door type; may be used individually or in combination with windows to provide access and architectural interest.

French Slide Series

French Slide Series A sliding door option matching our hinged doors in appearance and detailing.

Lift/Slide Doors Euroglide Series Two different door systems, each an ideal choice for maximizing large openings. Lift/Slide doors operate easily and effortlessly no matter what their size.

The Slide/Fold system joins multiple door panels that are hinged together and slide to open.
