AWT began manufacturing windows in 2000, and with new production and distribution centers in Houston and San Antonio, the company now sells windows and patio doors to 16 southern states. Since its foundation, AWT sales have enlarged $10 million each year it has been in business, it reports, allowing the company to move from the $30 million to $40 million sales category to the $40 million to $50 million category. AWT lately invested another $1.5 million in high-efficiency automated equipment for its vinyl lines and has introduced a new vinyl replacement windows series designed for coastal regions where there is a need for higher performance windows.
