If you are visiting our website because you are considering purchasing Anlin windows, and you came here to learn more about our company, we salute you. The people who design your windows, and who will manufacture and service them, really do make a big difference.

When Tom Vidmar founded Anlin Industries in 1990, he coined the phrase “From Our Family to Yours”. It was an important part of his vision, and indeed it has become an important part of who we are.

It would be hard to imagine a team of people working more closely together as one big family than here at Anlin. If you could follow Tom as he walks around our 200,000 sq. ft. facility, you would hear him call every member of his Anlin family by name. You’d see him stop occasionally to ask someone about the newest addition to their immediate family: child or grandchild. And you would see a lot of smiles from people who have worked at Anlin for many years, including many with multiple years of perfect attendance.

And you would see hanging around Tom’s neck, his official nametag, which alongside his picture proudly proclaims the name “Grandpa” to all.

During a tour you would see a large investment in state-of-the-art equipment that enables us to manufacture the highest quality windows and doors, and do it with a safety record that has awarded Anlin with the California OSHA Sharp award. This is the highest award possible and to our knowledge Anlin is the only window manufacture to achieve this distinction.

Most of all, you would see a team of people who are committed to working together to provide families like yours with the highest quality products, backed by service that is second to none. And this is why we say “Quality Windows and Doors from Our Family to Yours”.

Our History

Anlin Industries began in 1990 with a license agreement to manufacture CertainTeed windows. In less than a decade, Anlin became the fastest growing CertainTeed manufacturer in the nation, providing customers with the highest quality and service known to the industry. In 1999, Anlin was recognized and awarded the “Industrial Business of The Year” by the City of Clovis, California State Senate and the U.S. House of Representatives. In 2000, Anlin was awarded the U.S. (SBA) “Small Business of The Year”, recognized by the California State Assembly and Congress.

In March of 2001, Anlin’s license agreement with CertainTeed Corporation ended and we soon thereafter began manufacturing our own line of vinyl windows and doors. Our design team put a great deal of effort into developing what we believe are simply the most energy efficient windows with the most appreciated features that are available for areas with a moderate to hot climate such as California. Every decision concerning which features to include, what materials to use, and what manufacturing processes to use, all focused on creating an optimum design that would give a lifetime of worry free service to homeowners who choose to install Anlin windows and doors in their home. Of course this means that Anlin may not be the absolute cheapest option you can buy. But if you weigh all factors including total energy savings, years of trouble free service, and superior appearance, we think we do offer the best value.

Thank you for considering Anlin to make the windows and doors for your home.

What is a replacement window?

A true replacement window is a window that is custom built to fit within the opening of an existing window. It is custom measured and designed to fit exactly and can be installed without removing or disturbing the existing frame.

Why should I consider custom measured replacement windows?

You should certainly consider custom-sized windows for the very simple reason that they'll fit better. Stock-sized windows can require extensive carpentry work both inside and outside your home. Such work can be costly and inconvenient.

What materials are windows made of and what will work best for me?

Most windows are made from aluminum, wood, or vinyl. Aluminum windows conduct both heat and cold so they are poor insulators. Their painted surfaces are also easily scratched. Wood windows require regular painting and caulking, and can absorb moisture, making them difficult to open and close. They can even rot. Vinyl windows, such as those manufactured by Anlin Windows, never need painting and are thermally superior to other materials. This is why vinyl windows have become the most popular choice for both replacement and new construction applications.

What is the National Fenestration Rating Council (NFRC) and why is it so important?

The NFRC is an independent, non profit organization made up of representatives from manufacturers, suppliers, builders, specifiers, architects, state code and energy offices, utilities, consumer groups and the federal government. NFRC offers a single, uniform system for standardizing the energy performance of the glass, as well as the entire window. NFRC provides independent, credible and accurate energy performance information that you need to make an informed choice about your windows. The NFRC rating is a true measure of a window’s performance. Be sure your window manufacturer can provide published NFRC ratings for their windows.

What is the Energy Star Program?

The Energy Star program was created by the Environmental Protection Agency and the U.S. Department of Energy to help consumers in the recognition of energy-efficient products. We are proud to say that Anlin windows not only meet Energy Star requirements, they exceed the Energy Star requirement by as much as 45%.

What should I look for when comparing window warranties?

There is a wide range of differences in window manufacturer’s warranties. For example some brand name factory warranties cover parts but not labor. Some cover labor, but up to limited amounts and for limited time periods. Some warranties cover accidental glass breakage and some don’t. And different warrantees provide different provisions for transferring the warranty when you sell your home. To learn what your warranty really covers, be sure to read the actual warranty rather than relying on a sales brochure.
