10 years ago we had new windows installed all through the house by Estate Renovations in Newmarket. You were the supplier of the glass. Unfortunately a few years ago they started to cloud, and in July 2008 I started the process of trying to have them replaced, and found out this was not a unique problem for the windows made during that particular period. I initially dealt with Rick at Estate, then directly with you.

You still had the measurements on file, remanufactured the windows, and, unfortunately, had to come all the way to Mississauga twice to install them on November 3rd and January 16th.

The first installer was Chris, and unfortunately I didn’t make note of the two young men who came the second time.

I just wanted to write to tell you how impressed I am with how I was treated right from my first phone call, and the quality of your work.

I dealt exclusively with Elisa, who was always very friendly, cheerful, helpful, and has a wonderful telephone personality. She was able to answer my questions, get the answer for the ones she didn’t know the answer to, keep me fully informed of the progress of work, and was extremely apologetic when an accident put your van our of commission and our second appointment had to be rescheduled. (And I hear she does the Tim Horton’s run for everyone in the office… she’s definitely a keeper!)

Both Chris and the other two installers were also very friendly, respected our home in that they were neat, took care not to damage the floors, and cleaned up after their selves. My husband is also a tradesman, and Chris did not mind answering his questions on the tricks of the trade.

I have to admit that before I started the process I was prepared to have to fight for my rights as a consumer to have a faulty product replaced. It was so refreshing to deal with a company that stood behind their product, showed concern and respect for a customer, and to be dealt with so cheerfully was such a change in these days of rude and aloof business people.

So, to make a short story long! Thank-you, thank-you, and thank-you for our beautiful windows that once again are clear enough to let the bright sunshine in. And sunshine in your life is what I wish for you all.

LIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTY

Dayside Industries Ltd. Limited Lifetime Warranty

DAYSIDE VINYL WINDOWS (product) are warranted by Dayside Industries Ltd (Dayside) against defects in material and workmanship for life* subject to the terms and conditions set out herein.

THIS LIFETIME * WARRANTY shall be understood to mean, and apply to the lifetime of the original purchaser of Product or subsequent owner, subject to the terms and conditions of transferal of ownership set out herein; or a period of forty (40) years from the original date of purchase of Product, whichever occurs first. In the event of corporate, investment, third party, or any ownership wherein the subject property is not the principle residence of the owner or purchaser, the terms of this warranty shall apply for a limited period of twenty (20) years, subject to any limitations herein and shall not be transferable.

THIS WARRANTY IS TRANSFERABLE to the subsequent owner of the Property provided Dayside receives written notice of same along with a Fifty Dollar ($50.00) transfer fee, within thirty (30) days of the transfer of the Property. Failure to so notify Dayside or to make payment of the transfer fee shall result in the termination of any obligations on the part of Dayside.

Byron D. | St. Catherines: We want to formally thank you for the high quality window and door product you supplied for our R2000 Demonstration Project. As you know, R2000 homes must pass a stringent air leakage test. Our home passed this test last week at just slightly over 2 of the allowable air leakage permitted within the R2000 program. Your windows are part of the building envelope and as such help make or break our efforts on the rest of the envelope. Thanks for the good work.

Stuart C. | Milton: Recently our family experienced a house fire. Six months prior, we had Dayside windows installed. We were spared the full extent of loss, we feel, because of recent upgrades to our windows. During the fire the windows experience temperatures in excess of 800 degrees Fahrenheit. Despite this punishment the outer window seal was not compromised so that the fire was contained due to lack of oxygen. We feel that your windows were instrumental in the fact that we did not suffer severe loss in the fire.
