Fenêtres Lapco Inc. manufactures its windows according to trade practices, using first quality materials free from any defects that may cause them to be unsuitable for the normal usage they are designed for. All Lapco’s products are covered by a warranty to the original purchaser. This warranty is not transferable. See details below.

Aluminum and Vinyl Components 20 YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY Components are covered against nonuniform discoloration and breakage that may happen under normal use and maintenance conditions. This warranty covers exclusively the replacement of defective parts and does not cover labour. Labour is covered only within

HARDWARE 10-YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY Under normal usage, hardware is covered against manufacturing defects and faulty materials that can render it unusable. This warranty is applicable within the 10- year period following the purchase date. This warranty covers exclusively the replacement of defective parts. Sealed Glass Units 10-YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY Sealed units are covered for a 10-year period against any accumulation of dust between the glass sheets or any fogging caused by a defect in the sealing joint (but not caused by a break) that would create a sizeable obstacle to vision. This warranty will cover the replacement of the sealed unit and the labour fees within the 1st year of acquisition. Afterwards, Fenêtres Lapco will, at their option, replace the defective units, labour being

Spontaneous Glass Breakage 1-YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY This 1 year warranty covers sealed units against spontaneous glass breakage. Spontaneous breakage occurs when the glass develops a crack without sign of impact. This warranty covers exclusively the replacement of the sealed unit and does not cover labour. Labour is covered only for the first 12-month period. LIMITATION This warranty applies only to thermos glass not exceeding 12 square feet.

Wood components 1-YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY A 1 year warranty covers pine or wild cherry wood components. This warranty covers the fabrication defects. Null and void if the windows are not used in normal conditions, are not cleaned, protected against water and humidity.
