Awnings...Don't Forget Them!
Don't overlook the design possibilities of this versatile window style. They may be combined immediately under a large direct set window to provide excellent ventilation and maximum view. All Semco awnings are precision milled from premium Ponderosa pine that is treated with a water-repellent preservative to inhibit moisture and insect damage.

As Functional As They Are Versatile.
Just because awnings are versatile doesn't mean that they cannot be functional. Semco knows this because we designed easy operating hardware that opens and closes the unit with a minimum amount of effort. Each awning also has a full perimeter weather stripping system that effectively seals out drafts. Our heavy-duty sash locks seal tight and provide added security from unwanted intruders. All operating hardware is also specially coated so it will not rust, discolor, or corrode-no matter what the climate is.

Choose from one of the largest selections of glazing options available in the industry. Our standard insulating glazing option is 3/4& clear insulating glass. But, you don't have to stop there. You can select our super energy-efficient LoE with Argon gas in the air space for premium thermal performance. You can select simulated divided light (SDL) with and without internal spacer bar on both aluminum clad and primed exterior units, authentic divided light (ADL) on primed exterior units, aluminum internal grilles (between the light of glass), or both stick and full surround wood grilles that can be installed or removed quickly and easily.

Spend Your Time Enjoying Your Home...Not Painting Your Windows.
Semco awnings are available with their exterior clad in heavy-duty extruded aluminum. This means you can put away your paint brush because this tough exterior requires no painting! We offer seven standard colors and three decorator colors to choose from. Need a &special& color? Send us a color chip and we will duplicate your color exactly. To make our clad units easy to install, they also come with our patented, folding, nailing fin that makes installation a snap. If you really must paint, order our primed exterior awnings and add the top coat color that you like best.

Choose From Three Colors Of Hardware.
Eye-pleasing Quaker Bronze is standard. For a more distinctive effect we offer White and lustrous Bright Brass hardware. All three colors of hardware are available with screens with matching screen channel.

Hopper
Essentinally the same as an awning window, but opens at the top rather than the bottom. For obvious reasons, this style does not direct rain away from the interior.

Casement
Casement Windows...Great Looks And Super Performance!
Part of the secret is a solid wood jamb that is milled from only select Ponderosa pine. Nothing beats the natural beauty of wood, it provides great looks while acting as a natural insulator. For lasting performance, we treat all wood parts with a water-repellent preservative to inhibit water and insect damage.

Our Casements Offer More.
All of our casements feature a specially designed weather stripping system that seals tight and secure to keep out heat and cold. We combine this with heavy-duty operating hardware that makes opening (a full 90"&"ordm; for easy cleaning) and closing a breeze. All operating hardware is fully coated so it will not rust or discolor, even when exposed to harsh environments. Our &full reach& sash locks provide added security and protection when engaged.

Wood And Weather Stripping Can't Do It All.
We offer many different glazing options. Our standard glazing option is 3/4& dual-sealed insulating glass. However, we do recommend that you consider our LoE Argon gas glazing. This option has the air space filled with Argon gas, instead of ordinary air, to maximize its insulating abilities. The LoE coating on the glass not only adds additional thermal performance, but also protects your interior furnishings from damaging ultraviolet rays. You can select simulated divided light (SDL) with and without internal spacer bar on both aluminum clad and primed exterior units, authentic divided light (ADL) on primed exterior units, aluminum internal grilles (between the light of glass), or both stick and full surround wood grilles that can be installed or removed quickly and easily.

To Paint Or Not To Paint.
Semco's extruded aluminum exterior casements are virtually maintenance-free and never need painting. They come in seven standard colors and your choice of three decorator colors. Or send us a paint chip showing a special color which you &must have& and we'll match that color exactly. All aluminum clad units come with our patented, folding, nailing fin that makes installing them a snap. If a wood exterior is what you need, order our primed exterior casement. The wood exterior has been primed with a first quality latex primer. All you need to do is add the top coat color of your choice.

Our Hardware Has Soft Looks.
Standard hardware is heavy-duty metal in a neutral color of Bronze. However, to accommodate different interior treatments we also offer White and lustrous Bright Brass, all with matching screen channel.

Available In Bays Or Bows.
Semco casements are available assembled into your choice of 30&, 45&, or 90& angle bays. If you need a casement bow window, we offer a number of standard sizes. No matter what you choose, a bay or a bow, they all add that special touch to any home or architectural style.

Single / Double-Hung
Tilt Double Hung Windows & Traditional Elegance And Proven Performance!
Only select Ponderosa pine is used to make the wood parts of our double hung windows. Wood is nature&s best and most beautiful insulator, so you can count on our double hungs to provide excellent thermal performance and great looks. To inhibit water and insect damage, we treat all wood parts with a water-repellent preservative.

Our Many Features Make The Difference.
Effortless operation of both sash is made possible by special jamb liners that allow easy vertical movement, while still holding the sash securely in place. To keep out drafts, we use a full weather stripping system that has weather stripping at the bottom of the lower sash, the check rail, the parting stop, and the head jamb. For added thermal performance, we inject an inert and environmentally friendly foam insulation into the sill envelope of our aluminum clad units. This added insulation will save you money on your heating and cooling costs. For easy cleaning of exterior glass surfaces, both sash tilt to the interior. Uniquely designed, true counterbalance, tension-free, stepped jamb liner makes for effortless operation when tilting the sash to the interior.

Glazing Options? We&ve Got Everything That You Will Need.
Thermal performance needs differ from one geographical region to another. That&s why we offer a wide selection of dual-sealed glazing options in our double hung product line. One of our most popular glazing options is LoE. This glazing has a LoE coating on the glass and the air space is filled with Argon gas. This combination maximizes thermal performance while protecting your interior furnishings from fading due to harmful ultraviolet rays. You can select simulated divided light (SDL) with and without internal spacer bar on both aluminum clad and primed exterior units, authentic divided light (ADL) on primed exterior units, aluminum internal grilles (between the light of glass), or both stick and full surround wood grilles that can be installed or removed quickly and easily. Premium Ponderosa pine makes up the bar to the interior, with heavy-duty extruded aluminum to the exterior. We also offer optional aluminum clad storm and screen combination units for added thermal performance.

No Painting Required.
Our clad units have a heavy-duty extruded aluminum exterior that requires no painting. We offer seven standard and three decorator colors. If you need a special color, send us a color sample and we will match it perfectly. Our clad units come with an attached patented, folding, nailing fin that makes installing them easy. If you prefer a wood exterior, order our primed units and add the top coat color of your choice.

Hardware & Ours Looks Good And Works Hard.
Our hardware is designed to pull both sash firmly together at the check rail. This creates a tight seal and reduces air infiltration and increases thermal performance. Recessed latching hardware at check rail gives a streamlined, aesthetically pleasing appearance. Our standard hardware color is Bronze which complements any traditional interior. For more contemporary interiors, we offer White or Bright Brass.

This fin is attached to each unit and makes installation of the window into the opening both quick and easy. Glider Windows & An Economical Answer For Your Window Needs.
Select Ponderosa pine is carefully milled and precisely assembled to produce these beautifully crafted windows. To ensure years of faithful performance, all wood parts are treated with a water-repellent preservative to inhibit moisture and insect damage.

Easy Operation and Maximum Ventilation.
Special head and sill liners allow sash to move with a minimum amount of effort. This makes it easy to open the sash to take advantage of a cool evening breeze. To make cleaning a snap, both sash can be removed from the frame without the use of any tools. For added thermal performance, we also offer combination storm and screen units.

Don't Like To Paint? Consider Our Aluminum Clad Exterior.
Our gliders are clad with heavy-duty aluminum cladding. This cladding is available in seven standard and three decorator colors. All finishes are tough enough to stand up to any climactic condition. If you need a special color for your gliders, we can custom match any color sample provided. However, if you like to paint, order your gliders with a primed exterior. The high quality primer will accept any topcoat you select.

Three Colors Of Hardware.
Sturdy metal hardware pulls both sash together at the check rail. This produces a tight seal to minimize drafts. Standard hardware color is Bronze, with both White and Bright Brass available as options.

Bay
A bay window is a decorative type of window that projects outward from the wall, creating a sense of more open space and allowing in more light. It is typically constructed from one central fixed window running parallel to the wall. This window is then flanked by two other windows, usually casement or double-hung styles, attached at an angle.

Bow
Much like bay windows, bow windows project outward from a wall. While a bay window is composed of three main panels, however, a bow window is constructed of several. These panes join to form a gentle curve, or a bow shape. Also similar to a bay window, a bow window's center is typically fixed and its side sashes are casement windows.

It seems like just about every manufacturer has a sliding patio door, but no ordinary door performs as well&or looks as good as ours. We start with only the finest Ponderosa pine that is machined to exacting tolerances, that is then treated with a water-repellent preservative to inhibit moisture and insect damage.

Tandem Rollers Make Opening And Closing A Breeze.
It takes very little effort to open or close our door because of the concealed tandem rollers on the bottom of each operating panel. Air infiltration is reduced by semi-rigid vinyl leaf weather strip at the inside and parting stops&plus a woven pile weather strip applied to the rigid vinyl interlock.

Match The Glazing Option To Your Individual Needs.
Our standard glazing option is tempered 3/4& clear insulating glass&dual-sealed for years of lasting performance. However, you may need additional thermal performance because of your climate. If this is the case, we suggest choosing our LoE Argon gas-filled insulating glass. It will not only lower your energy costs by keeping you warmer in the winter and cooler in the summer&it will also protect your interior furnishings from the effects of harmful ultraviolet rays. Matching side lights, a dramatic transom, or a gracefully arching ellipse will really dress up your door. All three come in both standard and custom sizes, and are available with the same glazing exterior options as the door.

Insects Will Stay Out With Our Weather-Resistant Screens.
We take sturdy fiberglass screen material and bond it to a heavy-duty aluminum frame. We then add tandem ball bearing rollers for easy operation. This means that you have a quality screen that will stand up to all weather conditions and operate easily. We also offer color choices of Bronze, Taupe, or White to accent almost any exterior color. If you order an aluminum clad unit in a custom color, the screen frame will match the color of your cladding.
