Established in 1912 by Henry McCleary and acquired by Simpson Logging Company in 1941, Simpson Door Company is one of the oldest continuously operating door plants in the nation.

Simpson manufactures some of the world's most beautiful wood doors. The company is located in the heart of the Pacific Northwest and produces a wide variety of door designs compatible with nearly every architectural style and price category.

Much of the fine reputation Simpson enjoys today stems from the quality workmanship and caring attitude of our employees. Some of them have ties to the door plant that go back three generations.

A Local Review Committee will evaluate requests for contributions and determine the amount of grants to specific organizations.

We currently offer two Performance Series options, UltraBlock® and WaterBarrier™ Technologies. The combination of these two technologies creates a door suited for the toughest exposures. And this protection is delivered without sacrificing the charm and craftsmanship you've come to expect from a Simpson door. After all, a beautiful door is only worth having if you can protect it

Available on select French doors, WaterBarrier technology combines a Medium Density Overlay (MDO) with PVC glazing bead to create an exterior that stops water in its tracks. Select your choice of wood species and you've got the best of both worlds: water-protection on the outside and the unmatched beauty of a real wood door on the inside. It's a perfect alternative to an expensive cladded door, and exactly the type of innovation you'd expect from Simpson.
