Sprouse Building Products has been quietly manufacturing vinyl windows and delivering to over 10 states from the small town of Paden City, WV since 1991. The company has a unique history, having evolved from Sprouse Aluminum Products, a home improvement dealer/ wholesaler founded by Norman and Beverly Sprouse in 1972 and Omega Window Systems, a specialty window dealer founded by Jeff and Cecelia Sprouse in 1985. After acquiring Sprouse Aluminum, also known as Sprouse for Your House, Jeff and Cecelia started Sprouse Building Products with the intention of fabricating vinyl windows solely for the use of their other two companies.
They soon realized there was a need for a higher quality, competitively priced vinyl replacement windows beyond their other companies use, especially when delivered consistently within 5 business days from order date.
In the beginning, Sprouse concentrated on lumberyard dealers almost exclusively. Having established a reputation for quality products delivered in one week many distributors and two stepper inquiries have resulted in a shift to these types of accounts.
Sprouse prides itself not only on product quality but on delivery quality as well. A window damaged in shipment is the same as not having been shipped at all. Sprouse boasts a 99.5% on-time and complete delivery rate and credits much of this to their over 100 employees dedication and it's company owned distribution fleet.
Also, much of Sprouse success has been accredited to their close working relationship with employees and vendors. Throughout it's history, Sprouse has fabricated window systems designed by Chelsea, Custom Window Extrusions and Dayton Technologies. Having interviewed most North American vinyl lineal extruders, the decision to convert entirely to Dayton was easily made when evaluating product quality, system design and on-time, complete delivery history.
Elite Sill The fusion welded, 5-chambered and overlapping sloped sill design adds strength which helps prevent bowing. And best of all, no sill weep-holes are required making it easy to clean. Add to that a sill dam weather-stripping along with 2 additional sash seals and you have an "Elite Sill" that insures quick water run off and weather tight performance. Elite Sash Both, the top and bottom, sashes of the Elite Double Hung tilt for easy cleaning from inside. No unsafe exterior ladders or dangerous leaning out of windows for cleaning. Sash lift handles are designed and extruded as part of the profile. No worry about handles loosening or coming off through use. Upper sash keeper rail and lower sash lock rail mate through a unique positive interlocking design each enhancing the strength of the other when the metal sash cam locks are engaged. Add to that triple weather seals and you have one of the strongest weather tight, "Elite," meeting rails in the industry. Elite Frame The beautiful exterior bevel along with the 5-chambered and overlapping frame also adds strength which helps prevent bowing. The Seneca Patio Door
was designed with maximum glass area to capture the light while full weatherstripping will keep the elements out. The fusion welded frame and sash system possesses exceptional strength and durability. The Seneca patio door uses the finest locking hardware providing a weather-tight seal when closed and maximum ventilation when open. Efficient 3/4 Warm Edge insulated glass maximizes energy performance and minimizes unwanted sound transmission, reducing not only your heating and cooling bills but also outside noise. This vinyl patio door was engineered for easy operation. Heavy duty brass rollers can be easily adjusted from inside the house and are maintenance free. Several standard sizes are available. The Seneca Patio Door is reversible at the time of installation.
