Starline Windows is now one of the largest manufacturers of quality window products in Canada and the unprecedented growth of the company can be attributed to a commitment to innovative design and superior quality and service. Production facilities total 60,000 sq.ft. at our Head Office manufacturing plant located in Langley, British Columbia. We also have 5 sales offices with warehouses to distribute product throughout Western Canada and into the United States. In January 2002, Starline Architectural Windows Ltd., was formed due primarily to the overall growth of the company but also to focus specifically on the highly specialized products needed for the High-Rise Residential Market. Now recognized throughout North America as a leader in design built window wall systems, Starline Architectural has gained the reputation of quality products and excellence in performance. Our team of experts can assist in adapting our window system to most project requirements as we have learned than an early involvement into project design most often results in a successful project.

Starline Windows, a leader in quality window manufacturing for over 30 years, has developed a window system to meet the needs of new building codes and the Best Practices Guide from C.M.H.C. Equal pressure cavity wall construction is gaining popularity with progressive contractors, envelope specialists and city planning departments.
The equal pressure cavity wall design greatly reduces the chance of water passing through the wall's outer skin.
Geometric problems made it difficult to install conventional nail-on window designs into the new concept of a 20 mm drainage cavity wall. Our RainShield window system has an extra 25 mm of frame projecting out from the nailing flange for a total of 45 mm. This improved design allows us to locate the frame in its proper location, nailed to the wall sheeting, and still project out to completely cover the wall's cladding component, be it stucco, wood, cement or vinyl.
The RainShield system not only accommodates a thicker wall skin, it is also easier to install and maintain. With improved flashing, low maintenance gaskets and an extended main frame to tie in more efficiently with equal pressure cavity walls, the RainShield system is the perfect answer to new building construction. In addition, the system also incorporates a built-in sloped sub-sill, which in conjunction with a peel & stick application at the still, creates a "bathtub" under the window frame to drain out any incidental water that gets into the equal pressure cavity wall.
